Power bank capacity is measured in milliampere hours (mAh). Higher numbers mean more stored energy, but also more bulk and weight. For most people, it helps to think in “full charges” rather than raw numbers.

Also consider local regulations and travel needs. For air travel, most airlines limit the capacity of batteries allowed in carry-on luggage, typically up to 100 Wh without special approval. A standard 20,000 mAh power bank usually sits under this, but very large models may not.

The best power bank is the one that quietly fits into your routine. A student who streams music and messages throughout the day may be well served by a slim 10,000 mAh USB-C model.
